Job description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test & Validation Technician to join the Team at our new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tests on vehicle systems and components, ensuring they meet the required performance and safety standards.You will play a crucial role in our commitment to innovation and excellence, where every team member is encouraged to share ideas and drive our shared success.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform tests on vehicle systems and components, documenting results accurately.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations during testing procedures.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of test equipment.
- Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing protocols and procedures.
- Lead others in the team to achieve the delivery of multiple projects.
- Educated to Degree level in a relevant technical discipline or similar.
- Strong design background with a proven track record of delivering a wide range of projects from simple standalone fixtures to complex rigs.
- Proven experience in a testing or technical support role within motorsport or automotive environments.
- Strong knowledge of test equipment and instrumentation and familiarity with automotive systems and components.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
