About the Team

We are looking to recruit a Senior HR Adviser/Caseworker which sits within the Corporate Centre Group (CCG) of the People and Capability Team.

About the Job

In this role, you will:

  • Advise managers and staff across designated Groups and improve the capability of the department and mitigate departmental risk.
  • Support HEO junior colleague with all aspects of employee relations casework within HM Treasury.
  • Review HR policies and identify gaps or loopholes in the policy and work with the Policy Team to update.
  • Maintain and update checklists, process maps and desk notes for main policies with the support of the team.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of delivering a full range of HR Casework, HR policies and procedure, including the experience of dealing successfully with situations of a novel/complex, confidential and sensitive nature.

You will deliver an expert casework service to all internal and external partners. You’ll make effective decisions by using evidence and personal judgement to make accurate, expert decisions when there is no clear policy or precedents. Lastly you will tailor communications to a variety of internal and external partners, including coaching and influencing managers at all levels.
