Christ’s Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a newly created role of Domestic Operations Manager. Our support services sit at the heart of Christ’s Hospital and are vital to its success. The Domestic Operations Manager will oversee the schools’ domestic support functions of Cleaning and Portering, supported by three Team Leaders.
You will have previous management experience in a similar role, managing a domestic services team. You will be responsible for training, directing, monitoring and motivating a team of approximately 50 employees to ensure that the department’s services are delivered to the highest standard and in line with Health & Safety, hygiene and Safeguarding requirements.You will have experience of dealing with employee relations matters including, absence, performance, conduct, capability and appraisal.
The role is full time at 40 hours per week, over 52 weeks of the year. There will be the requirement for weekend working.
