This is an exciting time to join our small team to help shape cultural engagement across Redcar-Cleveland and Middlesbrough.

We are looking for someone who is driven and ambitious; and who is committed to their own professional development.

This role will offer the right person the chance to grow and develop as they work alongside high-profile artists, national and regional cultural practitioners, and producers, and gain invaluable experience managing stakeholders of all levels.

Working closely with the Community Producer, the Creative Producer will ensure all projects reflect the over-arching ambitions and aims of Borderlands, while meeting community needs.

The role will involve projects of differing scale, delivered by community groups through to national producers, so we are looking for someone who is excited about working with new people in challenging and changing environments, and who wishes to inspire people to be active contributors and creative change-makers in their own communities.

This role would suit a motivated individual who can both work independently and as part of a small team. While some industry experience is essential, this is an exciting opportunity to grow into an interesting and rewarding role.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.

If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place in person.

Please note that the University may ask you to participate in a number of selection activities as part of the recruitment process for this vacancy.

Interview date: Wednesday 16 October 2024.
