Job Title: Principal Flood Risk Consultant My Client, a specialist UK-based Environmental Consultancy focusing on Hydrology, Ecology, and Environmental Management, is seeking a Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join their friendly and supportive team in Surbiton.
Candidate Requirements: Strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Management, and Civil Engineering.Experience in Hydrology, Flood Risk, and Modelling.Experience mentoring junior team members or preparing bids and tenders is beneficial.
Working Arrangements: Expected to work from the office 4 days a week. Responsibilities: Train and mentor staff.Prepare bids and tenders.Check and complete various Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, and Water Companies.
Key Tasks: Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.Water Framework Directive Assessments.Water Quality Assessments.Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.Hydrological Assessments.Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.Drainage Strategies.
