Pertemps Reading are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our busy city centre office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of experienced consultants and administrators in a rewarding environment.

• £25,000 - £28,000 per annum basic, DoE
• Uncapped competitive commission structure
• 24 days holiday per year (+ Bank holidays)
• Earn an extra day of annual leave for each calendar year you work (Up to 5 years)

• Screen and Interview candidates and complete relevant checks
• Managing and building relationships with our large active client base and their key contacts
• Recruiting, interviewing and managing temporary workers
• Screen and Interview candidates and complete relevant checks
• Developing your business in the industrial sector - with a focus on quality over quantity
• Consulting with clients and candidates to provide solutions to recruitment needs
• Regularly visiting clients to gain new business and maintain relationships
• Dealing with Payroll for temporary workers and invoicing clients

• Outgoing and positive attitude is essential together with strong candidate attraction and business development skills
• Highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills dealing with people at all levels over the telephone and in person
• Ability to build rapport with clients and candidates
