About Our Client
Page Personnel are currently working with a long standing client, who are searching for an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Hornbeam Park on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for a hard working, motivated individual that wants to progress through the ranks of their finance team over the long term, and support in transactional finance duties, and month end management accounts.Our client is a large organisation, employing finance professionals around the UK. They are known for their commitment to training and development of their staff, and have a reputation for delivering high-quality property services in Harrogate and beyond.
Job Description- Accurately process financial transactions in line with company procedures.
- Processing monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of month end management accounts
- Ensure sales and purchase invoicing is up to date and payments are reviewed and made on a timely basis.
- Contribute to the development of new financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the rest of the accounting team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Gained relevant experience in transactional finance position or degree in Finance and Accounting
- Have strong motivation to succeed and progress
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- An annual salary in the region of £25,000 - £27,000.
- 25 days annual leave.
- A flexible working arrangement with 3 days on-site and 2 days work from home.
- Study support available after probation.
