Safran Engineering Services UK Limited Pitstone Contract
We are looking for a contractor to be based at SEP Pitstone for 6-12 months inside IR35 to support on a project.
Ideally candidate should have the below skills/competencies.- Proficient in the operation of CAT V5, NX6 and Teamcentre
- Detailed understanding of design for manufacture and design for assembly methods
- Configuration management of the product bill of materials
- Perform all tasks allocated within his/her capability within the field of Mechanical Design Engineering, carry out all work undertaken with efficiency and accuracy.
- Operate in accordance with agreed Safran Electrical & Power (UK) processes, with all deliverables being to the designated agreed standard.
- Support the Programme Manager and Product Lead Engineer to ensure the technical integrity of the product and that it meets all performance, reliability, cost and safety requirements.
In addition, the candidate should have good understanding of configuration control, mechanical principles, ability to model change and drawings can undertake tolerance stack changes.
Requirements- Experienced within the aerospace industry
- Qualified to Degree level, ideally in aeronautical engineering
- Security cleared
- Work onsite at Pitstone, UK
- Available to start within 2 weeks
- Provide services Inside IR35
