About Our Client
We are working with a fast growing, dynamic membership body looking to expand its team by bringing in a strong junior management accountant. The organisation is well regarded and highly recognised for its commitment to making a difference and its strong emphasis on employee development.
Job Description- Prepare monthly management accounts and report on variances
- Preparation and processing of journals including deferred income, accruals and prepayments
- Assist in month end reporting
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Provide support to the Finance team and liaise with other departments
- Participate in financial projects and initiatives
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts; must be able to prepare up to journaling at least.
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers, liaising to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and on individual tasks
- An estimated salary range of £33,500 - £36,500 per year
