We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the classroom teacher and fostering a positive learning environment for our students.
Day to day of the role:
- Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
- Help maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
- Positively manage student behaviour and promote constructive interactions.
- Aid in the preparation and grading of student assignments and assessments.
- Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to plan and execute school activities and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with primary school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Teamwork abilities to work collaboratively with the school staff.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards education.
- A commitment to creating and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
