You will be working for a Manufacturing business based in East Bristol who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Your new role

The Maintenance Technician will assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, identifying issues, and supporting the maintenance team in ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.

You will be working standard day shift hours from 8am -4pm Monday–Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
  • Support the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
  • Help disassemble and reassemble machinery for repairs and maintenance.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
  • Record maintenance activities and report issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven Mechanical Maintenance experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • 3+ Years experience in a maintenance role
