Job Description- Accurate processing and recording of company's invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Timely payment of suppliers
- Resolution of purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
- Ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos
- Maintaining accounting ledgers as required
- Producing monthly reports and assist with month end closing
- Providing supporting documentation for audits
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, eg: pivot tables, vlookups.
- Experience using accounting systems/ general ledgers
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- A salary range of £33,000 - £35,000
