A thriving, Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their permanent staff from January 2025 or sooner. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for children in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and enriching learning environment.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a love for learning.
- Regularly communicate with parents/carers regarding student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
- Experience or specialism in teaching Key Stage 1.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in planning and delivering phonics programs.
- Familiarity with SEND strategies and inclusive education.
- Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning.
