Finance Manager
The Finance Manager role will be suitable for someone that is AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience that is keen to add value and be a part of great company that is renowned for offering an excellent work culture. The salary is between £37,000 - £42,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Finance Manager role will consist of:
- Producing management accounts for a number of entities.
- Preparing the annual budget.
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register.
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Business partnering with stakeholders regarding budget variances and queries.
- Line management of x2 Finance Assistants; conducting reviews, providing training/support when required.
Requirements
To be considered for the Finance Manager role, you must ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
- Must have management accounting experience.
- AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience managing/supervising a team would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised.
- Excellent team player.
- Confident user of Excel; pivot tables and lookups.
- £37,000 - £42,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working; 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
- Local government pension scheme.
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
- On-site parking.
