Location: Chorley
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Chorley on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to inspire students and contribute to a high-achieving Humanities department.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure progression and achievement.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where possible.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Support from an experienced and welcoming Humanities team.
- Pay in line with MPS.
- Dedicated support from Spencer Clarke Group throughout your contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
