Production Operative 3 shift

Job Description

GEM are working with a global automotive organisation to recruit a number of manufacturing operatives for their high-profile facility in Newton Aycliffe. We are keen to hear from candidates with and without experience within this sector, as full training is provided.

• Working in accordance with health and safety directives and to standard operating procedures
• Operating machinery on busy production lines
• Quality checking and labelling of finished product
• General housing keeping duties
• Working towards a qualification of Performing Manufacturing Operations over a 9-month period

• Have a can-do attitude
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Flexible

Location: Newton Aycliffe

Hours of work:

• Days (Mon - Fri) 7am - 3pm @£11.44
• Backs (Mon - Fri) 3pm - 11pm @£13.73
• Nights (Mon - Fri) 11pm - 7am @£15.25

Rates of pay:

• £11.44 - £15.25 per hour
• After completion of PMO qualification basic hourly rate increases to £13.77
