Part Time Management Accountant

Our client operates in UK, and they are a dedicated and trusted Charge Point Operator providing reliable EV charging for all EV users with the highest level of service and innovation.

They have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced part time Management Accountant to join their friendly team in Northampton on a part time basis.

This role will work closely with and report to the Chief Operating Officer.

The Role
 •  Accounting, using Xero software for two UK trading companies
 •  Producing monthly management accounts for each company (largely automated by Xero)
 •  Managing cashflow, chasing debtors and bank reconciliation's
 •  Reconciling intra group loan accounts
 •  Authorising suppliers invoices (working with the COO) and payment.
 •  Operating or overseeing the payroll
 •  Pricing and producing quotations for customers
 •  Stock control of hardware and components (we hold very little stock)
 •  Job costing
 •  Sales invoicing
 •  Working with our Data Analyst, reconciling revenue received from charging with the reports from our back-office services supplier
 •  Calculating and paying over charging revenue for O&M sites and profit share and electricity costs to site owners for PNG owned CP sites
 •  Liaise with UK accountants re VAT and CIS declarations.
 •  Producing year end financial statements for review and consolidation by the companies Accountants.
 •  Working with the COO, produce financial forecasts (B/S, P&L and cashflow) for the UK companies and advising the directors

This role will also involve office administration.

This role would suit a candidate would is part or fully qualified.

Working environment
 •  Office hours are 9.00am to 15.30pm. However it is anticipated that the tasks would be completed between 10.00am and 3pm (5 hours a day although the hours can be flexible)
 •  All staff are entitled to 5 weeks paid holiday per annum and the usual sick pay provisions.
