Design Technology Technician
Location: Enfield, North London
Rate: £14.50 to £15.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Type: Full Time, Long Term. Immediate start until July, but possibly longer

Responsibilities:
As a Design Technology Technician, you will be responsible for:
Assisting teachers in the preparation of materials and equipment for Design Technology lessons.
Be highly proficient with resistant materials(woodwork and metalwork).
Maintaining and organising the Design Technology workshops, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Supporting students with practical activities and projects.
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs of equipment.
Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.Requirements:
Previous experience as a Design Technology Technician or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Design Technology tools, materials, and equipment.
Good understanding of resistant materials (woodwork and metalwork)
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
The school requires someone very reliable, adaptable and who is a great communicator. Hours and Pay:
Full-time position.
8am - 4pm
