Location: MAIDENHEAD, UK
Tasks
1. Support for Pupils:
• Assess students' needs and provide targeted support for their learning.
• Establish positive relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support inclusion within the classroom.
• Communicate effectively with students to support their learning and promote independence.
2. Support for Teachers:
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to students' needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies and individual behavior plans.
• Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive learning environment and support curriculum delivery.
3. Support for the Curriculum:
• Enhance students' learning across various subjects and learning environments.
• Utilize ICT effectively to support learning activities and student development.
• Prepare resources and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
4. Support for the School:
• Comply with school policies and procedures related to child protection, health, safety, and confidentiality.
• Foster positive relationships with external agencies and professionals to support student progress.
• Contribute to school activities and ethos, including out-of-school learning initiatives.
Requirements
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with SEN experience.
• Proficiency in using ICT tools for educational purposes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
