Procurement Specialist - North West London - £30,000 - £35,000
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced procurement individual ideally with experience in the audio visual industry. You will be working for a leading technology company who have been going through are sustained period of growth.
Responsibilities
• Ascertain project requirement from SM/PM
• Raise & place ad hoc consumable PO’s
• Establish best supplier subject to location, product demand, access & cost
• Make booking with supplier
• Follow up delivery is on schedule
• Raise PO on SAP
• PO management on SAP
• Management of order confirmations, certification
• Arrange site inspections where appropriate
• Check goods on site still required, extend or off hire as appropriate
• Track project costs
• Review weekly supplier PO reports
• Check and process invoices through SAP
• Reconcile statements
• Supplier management – checking and reviewing rates
• Management of plant
Experience
• Negotiation
• Experience or knowledge of the audio visual industry is essential
• Strong organisation & admin
• Ability to manage own and departmental priorities
• Work to and understand dead-lines
