Position: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Coventry
Salary: £30,(Apply online only) - £40,(Apply online only)
Hours: Monday - Friday
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Interaction Recruitment have partnered with a well-established manufacturer. Due to an expansion in the business, they are looking to welcome a skilled mechanically bias engineer to their site based in Coventry This opportunity offers a scope for progression into a senior/lead engineer role, training & annual pay reviews.
The Role:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on range of machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment to minimise downtime.
• Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance activities as needed.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to improve maintenance processes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
• Relevant Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous
• In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
• Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years - Essential
• Ability to work alone & as part of a team
