The Head of Nutrition oversees the level of nutritional expertise within the business, leading the thinking of the in-house team of Nutritional Therapists and is part of the “heads of” team taking the business strategy into action.

This role oversees the function that has talked to over 25,000 women, supporting them through life's changes. Our team of highly qualified, experts in women's nutritional health, are there for our customers, for free, to provide impartial advice and tailored recommendations.

This role brings the outside in by driving how the brand is seen in the industry as well as bringing the latest thinking and insight into our product development, how we talk about our products to our customers and our consumers as well as how we keep our support to our consumers up to date.

You are:

An industry expert… Someone that is a real guru in their field of nutrition specific to women’s health, always keeping up-to-date on the latest research around nutrients and ingredients, aware of competitor developments, respected by peers and able to mentor others within the business.

Curious on insights and formulators…You are aware of trends in the industry on ingredients and their benefits. Able to connect the dots between these trends and what you are hearing from our consumers to be able to table compelling ideas into our NPD funnel.

A strong communicator… Someone who can adjust the level of knowledge and their delivery according to different audiences. You are comfortable presenting to peers at high-profile practitioner events, to internal teams being sharp on the key points of differentiation to focus on, or conducting IG Lives for customers to help empower them through education on a particular topic.

Collaborative… A people person who values internal and external relationships and thrives on building high-performing, collaborative and effective teams. You enjoy working with others to help shape genuinely useful tools, information or products within women’s health.

Inspirational leader… Someone who is able to engage and inspire an audience and team to achieve more than they thought was possible

Customer obsessed… Someone who looks to drive improvements / innovations for customers, this could be in the form of services or in the form of products or formats

Key responsibilities:

 •  Being a key face of the brand for consumers, conducting webinars and IG Lives through both our DTC and retail partner’s channels and fulfilling media requests where required.
 •  Attending key events in the Industry as the Nutritional Expert especially where there is a consumer or retail trade connection.
 •  Working with the product team to understand the new developments, bringing these to life for all relevant stakeholders and creating the education master deck that can be disseminated to different teams to enable them to create sales sheets, product page information and training materials.
 •  Able to create materials to engage, inspire and educate retail customers to our consumers
 •  Input into the brand strategic plan key messaging focuses ot help guide the Brand Director on direction
 •  For the nutritional team lead the team including running regular sessions with the team to ensure the team are fully informed and engaged in how we see and talk to our offering (scope NPD, EPD, ingredient/consumer need deepdive), running weekly or biweekly team meetings, running annual reviews and being a key part of the recruitment team
 •  Working with the Nutritional Therapist Team to ensure the Marketing and DTC teams have regular access to nutritional expertise for BAU, campaign content and press pieces.
 •  Liaise with the Practitioner Technical Lead to ensure the messaging and materials remain aligned and that insights between consumer and practitioner are shared.
 •  Maintaining our best in class approach, by from time to time reviewing competitors, for how we carry out consultations eg creating a handbook for our we manage consultations

What this role does not entail:

 •  Leading claims and regulatory engagements. This is managed by the Product deployment role
 •  Managing the NT bookings as this is managed by the Customer Care team

Requirements
 •  Extensive Experience in a similar role
 •  Customer Focus - driven to provide the best care to our customers.
 •  Attention to detail and proactive attitude
 •  Experience in using the Food-grown nutrients/Products clinic
 •  Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
 •  Excellent familiarity with popular and up-to-date functional testing, particularly related to female health
 •  Confident in communicating to large groups of people and within your team
 •  Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
 •  Team leader that is able to engage and inspire a team to perform well.
