Job Title: Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Systems

Remuneration: £30,000 - £45,000neg + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
• Estimator position dealing with a range of roofing and cladding projects for education, commercial and leisure market sectors
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact clients dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
• Office based position, however will occasionally will have to go to site to measure up and provide quotations for clients
The ideal applicant will be Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
• Must have proven estimating experience within the roofing & cladding market sector
• Sound technical knowledge of various systems such as: standing seam, composite panels, flat roofing, green roofs, wall cladding, built-up, cement panels, rainscreen, brickslip, timber cladding etc
• Confident individual with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must have full UK driving license
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
