We are proud to be working with this independent freight forwarding Company that has over 30 years’ experience as a global transport partner to many organisations.

The Company prides itself on its exemplary customer service in supporting their clients with land, sea and air freight options.

They are now seeking a talented Freight Forwarding professional to join their team who is ambitious and wants to grow and develop their career.

The role is challenging and you will need to have experience of Land, sea and air freight, ideally. However, you will need a minimum of 2 years working in an operational capacity for a similar freight forwarder.

The main responsibilities will be the completion of all aspects of daily shipment operations and you will work closely with the Operations Manager and the Operations team to manage the day to day operational challenges.

Your role will be from working with the sales team or taking the initial booking, through to putting together the quote involving all parties to ensure accuracy of the quote, right through to the delivery of the goods at the client’s customer site or offices etc.

You will need to have a good working knowledge of the preparation and delivery of quotes
Track & trace cargo

Expediting the orders through ensuring updates are given to the customer on a regular basis and including the selection and booking of the carrier and negotiating rates and scheduling.
Giving support to the sales team with new prospective customers and building strong working relationships with your regular users.

Communication with overseas partner agents
Hours of work: 8.30pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.

In return, you will be offered an highly competitive annual salary along with pension, rising holiday for every year served, opportunities to grow and develop your career. Also, opportunities to work on Sundays for overtime but not essential.

PLEASE NOTE: This role does require you being based in the Office Monday to Friday
