The school is looking to take on a determined and passionate Science teacher to join their forward-thinking and innovative team. The successful applicant will be working alongside key stage 3/ key stage 4 teaching English and must be able to educate their students through engaging and dynamic learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that nurture practical skills, scientific inquiry, and a love for the natural world.
Cultivate a supportive learning environment that encourages hands-on experimentation, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the wonders of science.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and practical development in science.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the science department.
Actively participate in science-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience as a Science Teacher at the secondary school level.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
