Duties
 •  Manage, update and maintain the company's bespoke live project software.
 •  Study and understand tender documentation, attend Tender Design Team Meetings convened by the estimator and contribute to the tender design process through innovative ideas, experience and materials/methods research.
 •  Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering & buildability are considered at all stages.
 •  Attend Design Team meetings and ensure an appropriate record of action points is recorded, distributed and monitored to a conclusion.
 •  Attend site meetings on behalf of the company and record all appropriate matters, including focus on samples, design matters (RFI/Hold points) and programme.
 •  Agree the extent of and manage the release of information to the client team for sign off/approval purposes.
 •  To ensure timely completion and issue of technical assessments, CfSH/BREEAM information, warranties, certificates and the like.
 •  Work with the Design Management/Lead Draughtsman (CAD-Technicians) to set up, monitor and maintain a Drawing Tracker that incorporates relevant design, samples and programme and/or information required schedule (IRS) as appropriate.
 •  Assist in the preparation, approval and distribution of the Health and Safety File/Operating and Maintenance Manual.
 •  Any other duties needed to ensure the full discharge of duties responsibly requested by your Manager.
 •  Work in a safe manner following Company Procedures, 14001 Environmental, 9001 Quality and Statutory H&S Regulations.

Skills & Experience Required
 •  Excellent organisational skills.
 •  Experience within the Construction industry.
 •  An in-depth understanding of a variety of construction materials, including their properties & capabilities.
 •  The ability to communicate effectively through all levels of the Project structures, from supply chain to client.
 •  Computer literate.
 •  Enjoy problem solving & finding solutions to unique scenarios.
 •  Good time management and ability to multi-task.
 •  High degree of numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
 •  Able to make decisions within authority.
 •  Able to lead and work as a team member
 •  Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company
