As the pivotal figure in a specialist service, you'll ensure unparalleled care standards for residents. Collaborate with a dynamic team of specialists, deputy managers, and support staff to achieve excellence.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Building Strong Relationships: Work closely with our Area Operations Manager to foster strong relationships with customers, care managers, and stakeholders.
Advocating for Rights: Promote the rights of each individual, placing their wishes at the centre of their care and support.
Staff Management: Ensure all staff in your service possess the necessary skills and experience, matching them to deliver excellent care. Support, develop, and manage support staff within your service area.
Compliance and Standards: Fulfil registration requirements and performance standards set by relevant regulatory bodies, such as the CIW.
Assessments and Support Plans: Complete assessments, support plans, and risk assessments for the people we support.
Leadership and Consultation: Provide leadership and consultation to your team, including supervisions and appraisals, ensuring high standards and best practices are maintained.
On-Call Responsibilities: Work within the on-call system, taking responsibility for communication and support to the services.You will need to hold a QCF level 5 in health and social care or equivalent and have a strong background as a Registered Manager in a complex setting.
