ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, via ARNEclo.com. We have recently branched out and are now also available via Selfridges both in store and online.

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.

Reporting directly into the Head of Merchandising you will be supporting to ensure that the right product is bought for customers in line with the company strategy and objectives.

We are looking for a strong experienced Senior Merchandiser to take on the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment within a small growing function looking to expand over the coming months.

You will be a strong leader who can manage, motivate, and lead the merchandising team.

Requirements
 •  Develop and maintain the merchandise plan, ensuring that it aligns with company objectives and financial targets.
 •  Work with the design team to plan product ranges, taking into account customer demand, pricing, and margin requirements.
 •  Analyse sales data to identify trends and adjust stock levels accordingly.
 •  Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment and markdowns.
 •  Ensures that best sellers reach their full potential and any product risks are identified and managed in a timely manner
 •  Forecasting demand and placing rebuys based on lead times/ MOQ’s
 •  Able to manage budgets for to drive success across new product launches and re-buys
 •  Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business across supply chain, product & eComm. With the ability to work cross functionally to meet the business needs.
 •  Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and terms.
 •  Controls stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes (WSSI)
 •  Keeping up to date on any changes to the critical path, stock levels, availability dates etc
 •  Preparing Trade reports confidently presenting to key stakeholders driving out clear weekly trade actions for the team, adapting analysis and actions to the trading environment.
 •  Reviewing weekly trading performance and KPI's, identifying issues and the course of action presenting to the Head of Merchandising and CCO.
 •  Day to day management of the MAA, AM & JM to ensure their workload is prioritised correctly with the current needs of the business
 •  Ownership of EOSS and exit strategy of product lines, signing off with Head of Merchandising and CCO
 •  Any other ad hoc duties as required

Essential Experience and Skills
 •  Bachelor's degree in merchandising, maths, business, or a related field.
 •  Have experience as a Senior Merchandiser in a fast-growing eCommerce business.
 •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
 •  Ability to set up & maintain reports in excel. Dealing with large spreadsheets & data sets.
