Job Description: As the Head of Exam Boards Officer in our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school located in Birmingham, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all aspects of the examination process for our students. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the administration of all internal and external examinations, including GCSEs, vocational qualifications, and assessments tailored to students with SEND.
Collaborating with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external exam boards to ensure that appropriate accommodations and support are provided to students during examinations.
Developing and implementing robust examination policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Managing examination timetabling, logistics, and resources, ensuring that examinations run smoothly and efficiently.
Providing guidance and support to students and families regarding examination processes, deadlines, and access arrangements.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the examination process.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with stakeholders including students, families, teaching staff, and external exam boards.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving, anticipating challenges and implementing effective solutions.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality, ensuring that all students have equal access to examination opportunities and support.
