Buried Services Coordinator
 •  LeedsThe Buried Services Coordinator will manage all buried service information for all types of Utility related aspects on TRUe East. Ensure all information is updated and made readily available at point of source for viewing for all parties. The Buried Services Coordinator role also involves regular liaison with the Design, Engineering & Construction teams acroos the Alliance.and will report to AMT/SHES lead.

The aim of the TRU East Alliance is to transform the East of Leeds route allowing people to travel faster, more reliably and in greater comfort between the North’s great cities. Providing passengers with more choice, more seats, and better facilities on a safer, cleaner, more environmentally friendly railway.

What you will be doing
 •  Management information of all buried service information and be main point of contact for CAT Surveys portal, managing the tiles and ensuring latest data is updated and liase with the designers to have model updated.
 •  Discuss with Cat Surveys & Diversion Manager process for provision of digital utilities data including specification, checks and format of data.
 •  Discuss and agree with Cat Surveys provision of information to meet data management, design & construction requirements including format & labelling of data.
 •  Establish & implement process for updating & validation Cat Surveys data within model. Develop and agree process for obtaining dating data, checking and including within service model at min 6 monthly intervals.
 •  Document process for provision of digital NRG data. Establish status and availability of digital data set. Understand and report on process for provision of NRG data and process for updates in line with CDM requirements. Agree & put in place process for checking & updating NRG data in services model.
 •  Establish & implement process for updating Project Mapper with services model data. Agree & put in place process for regular transfer of updated services model into Project Mapper including agreement on format, metadata etc.
 •  Review PTBG process and its effectiveness.
 •  Define & implement process for updating services model with site survey drawing data and/or services found that differ from current information. Review existing process with Surveys CRE and as required update.
 •  Develop practical inspection pitting template compatible with Alliance processes, agree with Engineering Manager, add as template on ProjectWise and circulate for implementation.
 •  Agree a practical process for issue of inspection pitting data (e.g. central SharePoint site or email) and process and resources for adding this information to services model based on experience other similar projects.
 •  Establish services co-ordination issues forum. Agree method of feeding back and tracking services issue and forum for engagement with relevant parties. Agree format and frequency for briefing sessions on services co-ordination issue.
 •  Ensure effective process in place and briefed for site surveys data to be added to ProjectWise and then included in services model.
 •  Determine & agree costs for commercial implementation.
 •  Collating and filing all trial hole info and ensuring these are logged onto the CAT surveys portal tiles.
 •  Raising any findings different to what’s on current model to Systra GIS Model ensuring this gets updated in line with PAS128 guidelines.
 •  Coordinating buried services systems and liaising with the site teams following survey
 •  Continuously updating buried services information inline with TRU East buried services processes and relevant procedures
 •  Review services issues identified in Level 2 report, safety incidents, close -calls and NCRs to ensure addressed by revised process. Liaise with SHES team & PD rep to collate relevant information on services related issues and understand root causes

Who we are looking for
 •  Experience in a similar role for a large scale construction project.
 •  Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent qualification.
 •  All relevant Competency Assessment processes completed.
 •  CSCS Card and PTS
 •  Ideally have design construction and maintenance experience of railway and infrastructure projects.
 •  Working knowledge of design model software, MS Office products, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications.
 •  IOSH (preferred).
 •  Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload and personal resilience and ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-moving environment.
