Hey there! We're on the lookout for a Financial Controller for a global manufacturing family in Leeds. If you're a numbers whiz with a knack for financial analysis and a hunger for career progression, this could be the gig for you! if you are someone who's firm but fair, someone who won't try and turn everything upside down, but can still chat it up with the senior management and steer the team in the company's direction, this could be the job for you!
Also, just so you know, they're not the type of company who expect you to be a slave to your desk, they clock in, do their bit, then head home. Simple as that!

What You'll Do:
 •  Lead and steer the finance team.
 •  Be the go-to person for financial support and analysis for their plant manager and management crew. Your insights could shape their next big moves!
 •  Dive deep into financial reporting – think monthly management reports, balance sheets, cash flow analysis. Keep a sharp eye on the financial backend stuff like payables, receivables, and banking.
 •  Get your forecasting game on point – they need someone who can see into the financial future!
 •  Help them pick the right investments.
 •  Join the team effort to squeeze out costs, boost revenues.
 •  Mentor and guide the finance team as they believe in teamwork.

What You Bring:
 •  A finance qualification to back up your skills (but if you're self-taught and awesome, they are open to that too!)
 •  At least 5 years of experience, but what really counts is your drive and passion for finance.
 •  Excel wizardry that would make even the toughest formulas tremble, plus solid skills in Outlook & Word.
 •  Previous experience in Manufacturing or FMCG would be awesome, but they’re more interested in your potential to learn and grow.
 •  You're all about the details, but you're not afraid to dream big and think outside the box.
