A brilliant, stable charity organisation who have been operating for decades, are looking for a Part time Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis, working 3 to 4 days per week, depending on the candidate preference.
We are looking for a strong people manager, with management experience of a small, busy department, in addition to someone who likes to be hands on with the day to day finances, becoming crucial member of the management team, overseeing financial processes and analyst of accounts, working closely in keeping the CEO and the board.
The company are going through a period of change, implementing new processes and systems, so you will be working closely with a Finance Project Manager who will aid the project changes and role outs. This is an opportunity to be exposed to project accounting and a revamp of a finance department, adding more variation into your weeks.
This will be a varied role but day to day may include:
Leading a team of 2 - providing training and support and overseeing workload
Management Accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Completing Payroll processes
Overseeing company Bank reconciliation
Providing reports and updates on monthly, quarterly, and annual performance to the board What we are looking for:
Ideally Qualified - ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc.
Experience with Sage Line 50 is advantageous but not essential
Excellent attention to detail
Prior experience leading and managing a small team
Experience with business partnering and presenting to all levels of stakeholders
Experience in Charity would be advantageous but not essential This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has previously worked in a Senior Finance role such as Finance Manager, Finance Director or Controller and wants to move into a more part time and flexible position.
