Location: Northumberland
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Company Overview
We are working with an innovative manufacturer of critical safety products for multiple applications in their search for a new Test Engineer.
Job Description
• Create test strategies, test plans, perform tests and statistical data analysis related to new product.
• Work on test concepts from planning to commissioning of new test equipment, rigs and jigs.
• Use of statistical analysis to prove performance.
• Use of Six Sigma and statistical tools for various applications in test engineering.
• Plan, perform and direct technicians to build and validate new test equipment, with a focus on automation via LabVIEW control.
• Update test equipment to align with standards and test requirements.
• Maintenance of department standards and procedures: 6S, test procedures, SOPs, and H&S requirements.
Skills & Experience
• Experience of working with LabView.
• HNC or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electronical Engineering, Physics or computer science.
• Experience in testing, data analysis and documentation.
• Experience in building test equipment including documentation both hardware and software related, verification and validation.
• Experience of dealing with high pressure pneumatic equipment and testing and electronics
