Job Description

Midlothian Council invite applications to join our vehicle maintenance team based in Bonnyrigg garage. Working on a wide variety of machinery ranging from vans, trucks to specialist plant you will be an adaptable individual who can focus on tasks as an individual but also collaborate on larger tasks.

Experience in an HGV and/or MOT (class 4,5+7) based employment would be advantageous as would ability to undertake IRTEC/LOLER inspections.

Closing Date - 19th May 2024

Interview Date - Week Commencing 27th May 2024

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 39 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £31,400.36 per annum.
