Avocet Recruitment is working alongside a highly regarded roofing contractor that require a Site Supervisor to assist the Contracts Manager in the organisation, management, and control of all aspects of site work throughout the Exeter and South Devon area.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting pre-roof inspections, mid-roof inspections & completion sign-off’s.
• Delivery of toolbox talks to tradesmen.
• Material monitoring.
• Plot scheduling with site teams and Contracts Manager.
• Liaising and organising workforce of roofing tradesmen and labourers.
• Regular communication with buying department
• Attendance of weekly sub-contractor meetings on site.
The successful candidate will have...
• Valid driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Someone with a positive, pro-active attitude.
• A team player.
• Good IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Strong people skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Package details:
• Company van provided
• Holidays: 33 days including Bank Holidays
• Working Hours : 7:30am - 5.00pm
• Salary: Up to £35k per annum
