About the role

As a Line Leader at Humdinger in Heckington, you will ensure that the products packed and delivered to our customers are within the correct specifications.

We also are open to applications from people who are interested in Production Operative roles with a passion for food manufacturing and with the enthusiasm to develop their skills to become future Line Leaders.

SHIFTS:

Monday – Friday (Weekly Rotation)
 •  06:00 – 14:00
 •  14:00 – 22:00

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

As a Line Leader at Humdinger you will be responsible for the quality control of products on the manufacturing line which you are leading. You will complete various quality checks and paperwork throughout your shift to ensure we can meet our daily production targets and produce snacking products of the highest quality for our customers!
This role could suit someone who has worked as a Line Leader/ QC/ Quality Control, or a Production Operative ready for their next step.

 •  Provide training and documentation, to ensure all Production ops meet the minimum competency levels that are required of Humdinger QMS and Customer COP requirements.
 •  Ensure the line is run to it’s optimal capacity, minimising changeovers & improving yields
 •  Ensure that all aspects of shift/Line quality is adhered to
 •  Work as part of the team fulfilling duties such as packing, stacking
 •  To be the Operational Quality Line lead on Customer visits/audits.
 •  Build an effective & collaborative working relationship with your peers for a unified improvement plan
 •  To carry out any reasonable duties requested by the area Leader or Shift Manager

Qualifications:

 •  Strong People skills
 •  FMCG experience (ideally in food)
 •  High level of Computer Literacy
 •  High level of numeracy
 •  Good communication skills
 •  Previous experience in a food manufacturer
 •  Previous experience with CCP’s & Quality paperwork in a food environment
