Freeway Recruitment are currently seeking class 2 HIAB drivers to operate from our Client's site located in LUTON
The role
HGV C (Class 2) HIAB Driver/ Lorry Loader
Required for a minimum of April - July 24 (likely to be longer)
Must be available to work 2 x Saturday shifts in every 4 weeks.
Duties - You will be responsible for the following.
Daily vehicle check including reporting any defects in to to the transport Office
Ensuring loads are secure
Delivering across the Local and wider region to small to medium Building sites including domestic sites
Using HIAB Lorry Loader brick grab to off load building materials at site.
Taking and ensuring delivery notes are checked off and signed
debriefing transport manager a the end of shift of any failed deliveries.
Shifts
Start times 07:00 am to 16:00 basic hours not inc any Overtime required
Pay - PER HOUR PAYE
Mon - Fri Basic -£17.00ph
Mon - Fri Overtime after 9 hours - £25.50ph
Saturday - £25.50ph all hours
Requirements
***Accreditations Accepted : ALLMI, AITT AND RTITB with remote control access and Brick grab***
Full and valid class 2 licence with a ideally a min 6 months experience in operating a 26 tonne HIAB vehicle
Full and valid CPC card and Tacho card
No more than *5 points on licence
No DR , DD OR IN ENDORSMENTS
