You will be working alongside one other member of staff within finance as well as liaising with their external accountants. You must have previous experience of using Xero and be able to commute to Farnham on a regular basis. Your key responsibilities will be: Full preparation and production of the monthly management accountsWorking with the Directors regarding financial forecasting and budget managementPreparation of year end statutory accounts for the external accountantsLooking to improve the internal systems as well as their month end processOverseeing the transactional accounting functionsOverseeing one member of staff and supporting with their developmentSupporting with the long-term growth of the business and ensuring the function is managed efficiently The successful Part time Financial Controller will have: Previous experience in a similar positionExperience of using Xero is essentialSME backgroundQBE or qualified candidates will be consideredProfessional services background would be advantageous Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
