Are you an Applications Engineer looking for a new role?
Our client is urgently seeking an Applications Engineer to join a growing business in Telford.
Duties:
• The successful applicant will be required to review contract files to ensure they can interpret client specifications and requirements.
• Produce schematic drawings and component schedules for issue to shop floor
• Liaise with clients and attend site meetings when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for product and process improvement through feedback from customers, field performance data, and industry trends.
• Participate in product development initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of LV switchgear offerings.
• Ensure LV switchgear designs and solutions comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance and adherence to best practices.
Requirements
• A knowledge of engineering in the LV Switchgear industry would be an advantage, but we are willing to offer training to the right applicant.
• Must have experience of using Auto cad, in addition a recognised engineering qualification would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The package:
• Monday – Thursday - 07.30 – 16.45, Friday – 07:30 – 12:00
• 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays
