Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established expanding supplier of various types of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new Trainee/Graduate Sales Executive to cover and develop their client base across West London.
With excellent, uncapped commission opportunities, scope for growth, a solid training scheme and a set career plan, this is a great opportunity for a professional individual looking for a competitive sales career.
Responsibilities
Complete the in-house training programme to gain both the product knowledge and industry understanding
Focusing on a solution based approach, selling material handling equipment across an area encompassing West London/Berkshire
Attend customer sites to discuss requirements for forklift trucks and associated equipment, provide quotes and conduct site surveys
Meet and exceed sales targets
Have a strategic focus to gaining and winning new business
Requirements
There is no set background for this role, but the company are keen on speaking to individuals in particular with a sales background or hire/rental or general financial understanding given that the role is focused on long term contract hire of material handling equipment.
Candidates with good numerical skills would also be preferred. Ultimately the company are looking for driven and energetic individuals with professionalism and a long-term aim of having a sales career. The role comes with a lot of investment in the candidate for the longer term including on-going training and development and consistent salary reviews.
A full UK driving license is also required.

Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to £30,000)
Excellent long-term uncapped commission potential (year 1 expected £35k-£40k, year 2 expected £40k-£50k, year 3 £50k-£60k)
