Tasks

Step into Learning are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Centre, with expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to oversee our direct and subcontracting activities within our organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality management and improvement in FE education and have a proven track record in ensuring Ofsted compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the context of SEND provision.

Requirements
 •  Experience of leading quality assurance in the education and training sector.
 •  Working knowledge and experience of, Ofsted Education Inspection Framework for Adult, Young People and SEND Provision.
 •  Previous experience in a quality assurance or compliance role, preferably in the context of subcontracting or outsourcing arrangements.
 •  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make evidence-based recommendations.
 •  Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands effectively.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders at all levels.
 •  Worked in quality assurance for at least 1 year.Teaching qualifications.
