THE COMPANY

Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services are an international provider of maintenance and integrity services to the energy, industrial, and infrastructure markets.
You will be based from the company's brand new office in Grimsby, N.E Lincolnshire.
JOB PURPOSE
As Project Controls Lead you will lead the commercial function of the sites from within the remit of Project Controls whilst continuing to comply with corporate governance requirements. You will support the delivery of projects on both a framework and individually procured basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 •  The role will monitor the progress of the project to ensure it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports for site / client management and finance requirements.
 •  Responsible for working within all stages of project management. The primary role is to work closely with Operations Management and Project Management team to ensure all budgeting, scheduling and co-ordination processes run smoothly.
 •  Managing the stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the relevant contract requirements.
 •  Identifying potential issues with delivery or breaches of contract that could result in increased costs or potential counterclaims.
KEY RESULT AREAS
 •  Deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, relating to large, complex projects.
 •  Lead the establishments of the overall success criteria for the contract, including time, cost, and performance parameters.
 •  Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
 •  Lead and facilitate inputs from cross-functional project controls team in a matrix environment.
 •  Evaluate productivity and profitability of actual vs bid on current projects.
 •  Identifying and managing potential risks and issues.
 •  Negotiating contract amendments with both customers and suppliers in conjunction with Senior Commercial Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 •  Enforce and monitor robust commercial contract procedures ensuring extras / variations are quoted, approved and delivered as per corporate process and that all works are captured and all executed for invoicing.
 •  Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract’s financial and commercial aspects.
 •  Assess risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation.
 •  Prepare and provide project cost performance reports in accordance with project reporting requirements.
 •  Follow up on all invoices submitted to facilitate timely payment to assist in any commercial disputes.
 •  Monitor and report on CGP & Productivity weekly matching pay to output.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
 •  Internal: working closely with Operational senior management, Finance, Estimation and the National Account teams.
 •  External: key customer contacts at new and existing customer sites
