Monday to Friday- Full Time in the Office
My client, a very well established Facilities and Maintenance Provider who provide retail maintenance across the UK and Europe are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Coordinator to join and lead their Finance team based in their office located in Basildon, Essex.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience as an Accounts Controller in a fast paced environment and will have managed a Finance Team previously- Facilities and Maintenance background or dealing with Temporary Sub contractors is also advantageous.
Main Duties
Management of the Finance Team, managing all day-to-day functions to ensure the office is running smoothly and efficiently.
Updating the inhouse HR system with any Annual Leave, sicknes etc and ensuring all documentatio is full up to date.
Holding meetings for appraisals and disciplinaries.
Using Sage Finance system for accounts.
Entering invoices from Suppliers and Client invoices.
Reconciliation of supplier and contractor statements
CIS knowledge- entering sub contractors invoices correctly with CIS and DRC.
Submitting CIS return to HMRC using Sage
Emailing subcontractors statements monthly.
Bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation.
Generating payments for Suppliers and entering Client payments.
Emailing remittances and customer statements.
VAT reconciliation and submission to HMRC.
Credit control.
Chasing late payments from Clients.
Sending emails and statements.
Ireland VAT submissions.
Manually enter figures for Ireland VAT submission. o
Oversee accounts controller for Europe
Salary spreadsheet and expenses claims for submitting to the Auditors.
Budgeting and forecasting for MD reports
Cashflow management.
Working closely with the MD.
Knowledge of European currency payments.
Liasing with Auditors for Year end and management accounts both UK and Europe.
