We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer/Manager for a growing engineering client for ongoing contract works within the water utility sector for a longer term role
There is a requirement for a Commissioning Engineer/Manager in South Wales/surrounding area's and further afield where necessary so there will be travel involved at times. Rate is £25 ph - £30 ph subject to experience
The Commissioning Engineer/Manager will be required to work from home/remotely to assist client with servicing of the clients projects and to visit the office/site for meetings on when required.
Commissioning Engineer/Manager key responsibilities will include:
• Provide excellent Customer Service, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues/customers.
• Monitor and supervise where required the installation work to ensure it meets the Company standards and is in line with the contract specification.
• Ensure the installation meets customer, health and safety and statutory requirements.
• Must be electrically competent
• Be able to produce electrical drawings
Commissioning Engineer/Manager key skills and attributes
• Appropriate working experience.
• Must possess sound electrical knowledge and have proven background through recognised apprenticeship or hold similar qualification.
• Hold a full clean driving licence.
• Ability to lift, carry and climb ladders ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements. Ability to use power tools to repair and / or dismantle equipment.
• Geographical area of responsibility with a requirement to travel across areas and the UK.
