As a Design Project Manager at Lighthouse Games, you will play a pivotal role in managing the design processes and ensuring the successful delivery of our groundbreaking project. You will collaborate closely with other departments, such as art, programming, and production, to ensure the successful execution of design concepts throughout the development cycle..
Key Duties Include
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of game design concepts throughout the development cycle.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including artists, programmers, and producers, to develop and refine innovative game design concepts aligned with the project's vision.
• Ensure the successful implementation of design ideas and mechanics, overseeing the detailed planning and execution of game content.
• Effectively manage project timelines, milestones, and resources to meet delivery goals, identifying and addressing potential roadblocks proactively.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a project management role within game design.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear direction to team members.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing dependencies effectively.
• A background in a creative game design role.
• Proficiency with game design tools and software (Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar).
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to enhance gameplay experiences.
• Passion for gaming, a deep understanding of player motivations, and a strong creative vision.
