Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager at Doughboys Pizza, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and market presence of our brand within the foodservice sector. This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for building strong business relationships and a keen eye for identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.
You will be responsible for researching, prospecting, and closing new business deals across a variety of hospitality clients.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and Identify Opportunities: Profile, research and identify new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing relationships with partners, customers, and distributors and maintaining a log on internal CRM systems.
• Customer Acquisition: Drive sales and acquire new customers within the out of home market which will include a variety of venues such as hotels, restaurants, leisure venues, universities and more, creating pull-through via wholesaler stockists and distribution partners.
• Strategic Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong, sustainable partnerships by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions, fostering relationships that lead to increased sales and brand visibility.
• Revenue Growth: Drive profitable revenue growth by developing and implementing strategies to expand market share, meet sales targets, and capitalise on emerging market sectors.
• Market Analysis and Competitor Monitoring: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and identify areas of growth to adapt strategies, staying ahead of the curve and providing innovative solutions to our customers.
• Trade Show and Networking: Represent Doughboys Pizza at trade shows, customer events, and networking initiatives to establish brand presence, build relationships, and explore potential partnerships.

• Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a similar role within the food industry, showcasing the ability to drive sales growth and meet targets through acquiring new business and fostering customer relationships.

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential to build rapport and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with potential partners and customers.
