Polytec are looking for an enthusiastic Embedded Software Developer to debug complex real time issues for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
• Requirements analysis
• Design
• Implementation
• Developer Test
• Fault fixing
Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant discipline
• Excellent knowledge of a variety of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Kotlin)
• Experience with real-time, multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software
• Embedded Linux Kernel and user-space software development experience of a commercially released product
• Excellent debugging skills
• Experience with development tools for debugging, profiling, code coverage, memory leak detection
• Experience of using configuration management and fault tracking tools
• Innovative with proven ability to generate new ideas and approaches to problems
