About the role

We are excited to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a forward-thinking technology business within the property sector.

Sitting within the finance department, the management accountant will be supporting the Group Financial Controller in managing the financial operations of the business, ensuring the reporting requirements of both the internal management team and the PE owners are met.

Responsibilities:

 •  To own the monthly timetable for close, working with the Finance Services Supervisor and the Finance Manager to produce flash information for review, as well as managing the contributions from other members of the team.
 •  To manage a number of cost centres working with cost centre managers to review performance and support budgeting.
 •  Production of the monthly management accounts, owning key elements, and ensuring delivery of a full pack of information for review by the GFC.
 •  To own the TM schedule of accrual and prepayments ensuring that it is reconciled monthly.
 •  To manage the monthly schedule of reconciliations, liaising with the Finance Services Supervisor and the Finance Manager to ensure that all those delegated to others in the team are completed and reviewed.

Requirements:

 •  Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
 •  Experience in change and transformation environments.
 •  Comfortable in high-volume roles with keen attention to detail.
 •  Strong analytical and communication skills.
