Position: Contract / Project Administrator (full-time)
Location: Essex - CM2
Package: £25,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
About the role.
Our client is a Fire Protection Contractor with offices in Essex, and London City, who specialize in the design and installation of fire detection and suppression systems nationally across the UK.
Because of continued growth, we’re looking for a talented Contract / Project Administrator to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of operations across their construction projects.
You'll be.
• An experienced Contract or Project Administrator, with administrative experience in Construction businesses or similar, with great experience of purchasing and document control.
• You'll have strong organisation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent time management - you'll be well versed uploading timesheets for weekly payroll, order/stock management, and checking material orders and deliveries match up.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, and able to organise the administrative paperwork effectively.
• Confident liaising with the internal stakeholders of the business, as well as subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure they have the most up-to-date information, assisting in the smooth running of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities.
• Purchase Ordering - you'll work with the Project Directors to implement purchase orders, authority sign off, and help track materials to site and into storage and ensure records are well maintained via internal purchasing systems and client portals.
• Project Documentation - maintain, and organize essential project documentation including contracts, permits, drawings, project plans, material orders and job costings.
• Completion and return of contract documents (where applicable) to the client such as minor works agreements, health and safety documents, and KPI forms.
• Assisting the Project Director with purchase orders, deliveries and stock control.
• Communication - you'll act as a bridge between the Directors, project teams, suppliers and the office, to ensure clear and effective commination.
