Risk Management Specialist | Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Welcome to an excellent opportunity to progress your career in Risk Management. This role is critical in the application of the trust strategy for improvement in Patient Safety and Quality of care.
The post holder will be part of the Patient Safety, Risk and Clinical Effectiveness Team and will be a key partner in implementation of the Trust Quality and Safety Strategy
The trust has commenced on a journey to improve learning and quality improvement, this post holder will have a key role in driving this journey from a Risk Management perspective.
The post holder will gain exposure to a wide range of clinical and quality governance developments supporting teams across the trust Governance Support Unit and working with the Divisional Clinical Governance Teams.
Oversight of the Trust Risk Management System, Ulysses, will remain a key objective along with management of the Ulysses Analyst.
The post holder will join the trust at an exciting time following a revision of Quality Governance across the Trust and opportunities to influence future working.
Long term aspects will include oversight of the Risk Management processes, supporting understanding of these processes across clinical and non-clinical leaders and supporting a culture of learning and quality improvement.
Expertise within the Ulysses Risk Management System will be a key skill for development within the post.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a standard DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 months.
